Vatamanyuk M. Household Consumption in the Transition Economy of Ukraine.

In the dissertation the features of household consumption in the transition economy of Ukraine are studied. The essence of economic concept "household consumption" is traced, modern tools of its investigation are considered. The factors, which defined households' consumer behavior in the command economy, are identified. The complex investigation of households' consumer expenditures during the transition is provided; households' differentiation and social policy measures directed for it's diminishing are analyzed. Using consumer behavior models the features of consumer behavior of Ukrainian households are investigated and basic measures for its optimization are proposed.
