The thesis is devoted to the analysis of emergence and development of the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples in the international law. The special attention is paid to the illumination of the sources of the self-determination, the content of the right of the peoples to self-determination as the right of all nations and peculiarities of realization of this principle by the people of Palestine in the conditions of peace settlement of the problem in the Middle East.
