Golikova N. Human capital as a factor of growth and economic development

Human capital. The aim is to define the economic essence of human capital, it's structure and role as a factor of growth and economic development. Methods of theoretical and economical analysis and synthesis, mathematical and statistic methods were used. The economic essence of human capital has been defined and author's definition has been given. Theoretical formulas to estimate human capital's value, scientific potential, managerial capital as a part of goodwill, indexes of managerial links work synchronization, of loses from delays with document's transactions, of scientist's and lecturer's competence have been proposed. It has been proved that human capital exists in knowledge economy. On the basis of economic and statistic analysis and with the help of Solow model Ukraine's economy macro analysis during 1990-2002 has been carried out. Formulas for con-tribution in growth and economic development main human capital components estimation have been proposed. In the field of management, political economy, higher education can be used.
