The investigation was dedicated to the influence of infrared (840 nm) and red (633 nm) laser radiation at dosage range between 0,3 mJ/cm2 and 1200 mJ/cm2 on somitogenesis, lipid peroxidation intensity and antioxi-dant enzyme activity red blood indexes and embryo mor-tality. Quail embryo demonstrate significant somite number increase at 38 hour of incubation after irradiation in gastrula stage by laser light of infrared and red range with maximum effect under energy density 3 mJ/cm2. The results prove the nonlinear correlation between ef-fect of the laser radiation and applicable dose. The sensi-tivity of antioxidant defense system of embryo to laser light was revealed. It characterized by the change of lipid peroxidation intensity and activity of catalase, ceru-loplasmine, glutationperoxidase and superoxiddismutase. The changes depended on wavelength and dose of the applicable radiation
