Dissertation is dedicated to the exploration of problems and prospects the development of public sector in the conditions of the market transformation of the economics of Ukraine. The main approach the definition of notion "the public sector of economics", and also views of great agents economic schools on the economic role of public sector are analyzed, and the main tendencies of him practical development in modern economy are regarded. The complex macroeconomic analysis of the public sector of national economics is done. The conceptual principles of the public sector of national economics reforming are well-grounded. And the practical recommendations, concerning increase the effectiveness of the public sector of the economics of Ukraine, are offered.
