Luka O. Regulation of export-import activity considering comparative advantages of Ukrainian agriculture

The object of research - modern tendencies of international agricultural trade development and features of trade policy in agricultural sector of economy. The purpose of research - to outline the main ways of export and import activity regulation in Ukrainian agriculture based on estimation of comparative advantages of some agricultural products on the world market and considering international experience of agricultural trade regulation. The methods - dialectic method of knowledge, scientific abstraction, induction and deduction, comparison, analysis and synthesis, historical-logical, grouping, graphic, economics-statistical, monographic, quantitative and qualitative analysis. Research novelty - methodological concepts of measurement of country's comparative advantages in agricultural trade are developed; firstly with utilization the indexes of Revealed Comparative Advantages the competitiveness of some Ukrainian agricultural products on the world market is examined; firstly the methodology of Domestic Recourse Cost calculation is used to estimate future competitiveness of main domestic agricultural commodities in conditions of trade liberalisation; priority directions of agro-food trade development and participation of domestic agriculture in world integration processes are completed, forward-looking markets for domestic afro-food products are discovered; proposals for improvement of agro-food import regulation in Ukraine and directions of agricultural export stimulation are created. Results of researches - are used in practical activity by the Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine, in research work and educational process.
