The dissertation is dedicated to the solving of an actual problem of increasing the efficiency of thrust bearings of sliding with lever levelling system, by the improvement of their design, based on the developed dynamical model of the thrust pads loads, caused by the gas turbine thrust plate torsion beating. The dynamical loads on bearings' thrust pads are shown to be caused by the lever levelling system inertia. Calculation methodic and programs for the bearing efficiency estimation and analysis are worked out. Resonance phenomenon is first found in the lever levelling system of the marine gas turbines. The recommendations developed on the increasing of the thrust bearings efficiency allow reduce the dynamical loads on the thrust bearing pads during the design process.
