The object of the research - the process of professional self-development of future teachers. The aim of the research - is to reveal, theoretically substantiate and approbate the pedagogical conditions that stipulate the effectiveness of formation of the potential of professional self-development of future teachers at higher educational institutions in the course of their Magister's degree training. The methods of the research : theoretical, empirical, statistical. The theoretical results and novelty: for the first time it has been theoretically well-grounded the validity of organization of Magister's degree training of future teachers of higher educational institutions as to the formation of the potential of their professional self-development; it has been concretized the essence, the component-functional structure and specificity of the potential of the professional self-development of future teachers at higher educational institutions as the driving force of progressive growth of personality and professional activity; it has been revealed the criteria , features and levels of formation of the phenomenon in question in the course of Magister's degree training; it has been revealed the pedagogical conditions that enhance the effectiveness of Magister's degree training as to formation of the potential of professional self-development of future teachers at higher educational institutions; it has been enriched the vocabulary of the Theory and Methodic of Professional Education by means of introduction of new terms such as "professional self-development", "the potential of professional self-development" and "formation of the potential of professional self-development" of future teachers at higher educational institutions. The practical value and novelty it has been elaborated a methodic of diagnostics of the levels of formation of the potential of professional self-development of future teachers at higher educational institutions; it has been approbated the model of organization of Magister's degree training as to formation of the potential of professional self-development of future teachers at higher educational institutions. The object and level of implementation: it has been elaborated the curriculum of the practical course "The Basics of Professional Self-development of a University Teacher" as well as certain recommendations as to implementation of the technology of pedagogical support of the professional self-development of magisters. The effectiveness of implementation is high. The sphere of usage is pedagogical, namely higher pedagogical educational institutions.
