The thesis is devoted to the all-round investigation of the process of forming and functioning of railway Network in Bukovina under Austria-Hungarian period Pre-history of railway construction in Austria in Bukovina (the 30s-50s of the XIX century) and the construction of railway and railway operation in Bukovina in the 60-70s of the XIX century are also investigated. The Particular attention is attached to to characterizing of the Construction and the significance of local railways in the Austria-Hungurian period (1984-1948). The economical Features of the railway network in Bukovina are ascertained.
