Marets O. Household in the Transitional Economy of Ukraine.

The peculiarities of household's behavior in the transition economy of Ukraine are researched in the dissertation. The essence of household, its types and functions, contemporary tools of its investigation are considered. System of national accounts concepts concerning household is elucidated. The macroeconomic analysis of household is conducted using the main its functions. Inequality of income and expenditures components distribution as well as their influence on total inequality is investigated; social policy measures directed for it's diminishing are provided. The list of possible directions for the effectiveness enhancement and the improvement of household's level of living are analyzed.
