Karina E. Virtual reality: ontological status.

The object of study – phenomena of “virtual” and “virtual reality” in all forms of their existence. The aim - The definition of ontological status and main ontological characteristics of virtual reality. Methods - post-nonclassical thinking and metaphysics of absence, contextual analysis of concepts, comparative analysis, abstracting, generalization, systematization. Notional penetration of the concepts “virtual” and “virtual reality” in the history of philosophy and scientific knowledge are investigated. The ontological status, main ontological characteristics of virtual reality and peculiarities of its space, time and casualty are defined in the thesis.
