Essay

The dissertation is devoted to investigations of functioning of intracellular Ca2+-transported systems of salivary glands secretory cells of Chironomus plumosus L. larvae. It was identified Ins(1,4,5)P3Rs and RyRs in the membranes of intracellular calcium stores. It is assumed that Ins(1,4,5)P3Rs and RyRs are functioning coordinately as "common oscillator unit". Using electron-microscopy it was shown that mito-chondria are located mainly in basolateral pole of these cells and were absent in apical part. It allows us to suggest exists a low probability of mitochondria role in localization Ca2+-signals in apical pole of these cells. It was established that cAMP inhibited of Ca2+ release from Ins(1,4,5)P3Rs and acti-vated of Ca2+ release through RyRs. We also found, that cGMP inhibited Ca2+ release from intracellular store only at thapsigargine presence in incubation medium. It was shown, that of calmodulin didn't have an influence on intracellular Ca2+-transported systems in rest secretory cells. However, It strongly intensified Ca2+ release through RyRs and not so strongly intensified Ca2+ release through Ins(1,4,5)P3Rs. It was proposed a scheme of correlated functioning of intracel-lular Ca2+-transporting systems.
