Stasyuk I. The influence of low doses of radiation on the gastric secretion and gastric mucosa in rats

It was was dedicated the dependence between the dose of ionization and basal secretion. Ionization in doses 10-100 sGr enhanced the basal secretion in high level. The curves "dose-effect" of basal and pentagastrin stimulated acid secretion had nonlinear character with the dose independent areas. Pentagastrin stimulated gastric acid secretion enhanced and the mucosal lesions were revealed when the ionization dose was increased. Gastric lesions were correlated with the ionization dose. Secretory function under ionization in summary dose 40 sGr returned to previous level later than the same dose was applied at once. Combined action of ionization in doses 10-40 sGr and "social stress" revealed the greater mucosal lesions than in the rats under "social stress" along. This is the evidence of potentate action both these factors for gastric mucosal integrity.
