Object of research: agricultural, the enterprises meatprocessing and the trade organizations of Lviv, the Zakarpatya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Chernivtsy regions. The aim of the research: study of regional features of formation and a substantiation of functioning of the market of a beef of Karpatskiy region, influence of a market situation on subjects of managing. Methods: comparisons, index, graphic, monographic, sociological, an induction, deduction, economic-statistical, analysis and synthesis. Scientific value: it is investigated tendencies of a becoming of the market of a beef in Karpatsiy region in reforming period; for the first time it is investigated features of formation of a final demand for a beef and products of its processing; it is given an evaluation to influence of a market situation on activity subjects of the market who shape a marketing chain since the producer of meat of the large cattle, and ending the trade organizations; It is investigated scale and the causes of the crisis phenomena, factors that influence development of the regional market, thus the complex national, external factors which have direct and not direct influence on a market situation was taken into account; it is offered ways of the state influence on process of formation of the market and a path of improvement of its functioning with the count of features of region, and also specificity of functioning of the market of a beef and products of its processing, on the basis of improvement of work of an infrastructure of the market, pricing on prepared production; it is elaborated offers for enriching use of resources of the subject of managing for achievement of competitive advantage and rising effectivity conducting economic activities in the market of a beef in dependence on a field of activity, the dimensions of the enterprise, the form the property of the producer agricultural production. Theoretical and practical results: It is investigated principal causes which constrain development of the market of a beef in Ukraine as a whole and Karpatskiy region in particular, allow to develop actions for their minimization. Display major factors which influence the final buyer at committing of buying by him, formations of demand for a beef and products of its processing in analysis region. It is investigated the basic defects in the function of subjects of the market of a beef and it is offered to a path of enriching of existing state. It is investigated features of the basic amounting regional to the market of a beef: conjuncture, a supply and demand, a competition and pricing. Define priority levers of influence on the market, on the basic directions of economic policy which are capable to improve ensuring the population by a beef and products of its processing. Efficiency of references it is reconfirmed it is practical. The sphere of application: the meatprocessing industry, trade sphere, education.
