Dissertation work is devoted to the improvement of scientific bases and optimization of development and placing agricultural production after criteria of economic, social and ecological efficiency on example of the Ternopol region. On the basis of analysis of tendencies, conformities to the law and new phenomena of socio-economic development conception and strategy of permanent development and placing agricultural production is developed. Socio-economic priorities of region development are laid out in context of food safety and providing a population by the food commodities within the limits of regional AMC.
