The economic security of the state as the totality of the economic relations. Investment provision of economic security of the state as the factor of the economic system development. System and structure-functional approach, methods of the analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, scientific abstraction. The nature, place and the role of the investment provision is defined and directions of its transformation are investigated. Principles of the investment mechanism rebuilding in Ukraine according to economic security criteria's are elaborated. Results of investigation in part of motivation of contents, functions and forms of realization of economic security mechanism and recommendations for optimization state investment are introduced. Results can be applied in the public governance, in the teaching process.
