Essay

Features of accumulation and distribution of heavy metals have been investigated in young organisms of Cyprinus carpio and Hypophthalmichthys molitrix, which were grown in water-bodies with different sources of water supply (Dnieper, Samara and Orel rivers), in abiotic and biotic components of water ecosystems. The least anthropogenous loading on the fish young was observed in Petrikivski basins. Here the metal accumulation index was 4,6 kg/ga, whereas in Samarski basins this index was 14,4 kg/ga, and in Taromski basins - 27,6 kg/ga. According to experimental data, such metals as lead, cuprum and nickel were accumulated greater in organisms of Cyprinus carpio, than of Hypophthalmichthys molitrix.
