Essay

The dissertation is a completed scientific study, which solves the urgent problem of increasing the fish productivity of ponds and reproductive characteristics of the carp organism when used in unconventional feed additives with biologically active properties of milk thistle. In accordance with the functional and biological characteristics of the additive, the mechanism of its effect on the body of experimental groups of fish was studied. The influence of milk thistle on the indicators of the body's antioxidant defense system and the quality of meat of experimental groups of fish in laboratory and industrial conditions has been studied and analyzed. Economically justified norms and methods of introduction of milk thistle carp into the diet have been developed. During the entire research period, a series of experimental model tests were performed both in the laboratory and in the pond, following the generally accepted rules of fish production and repetition to determine the effect of the introduction of milk thistle on the physiological and biochemical parameters of the organism according to its biological properties. For the first time, economically justified norms and methods of introducing milk thistle into the diet of carp at different stages of ontogenesis have been developed. It is determined that the raw materials of milk thistle used in research on the content of the main active substances meet the regulatory requirements for drugs and dietary supplements.
