Pashko M. Peculiarities of the combined technology of forming and exploiting sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus Linnaeus, 1758) brood stocks in industrial conditions.

The dissertation work is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the combined technological scheme of industrial sturgeon culture based on the formation of sterlet brood stocks in cages under natural temperature regime of water bodies of the Forest-steppe zone of Ukraine in the combination with the production of mature reproductive products from grown brood fish under regulated water temperature in the recirculation aquaculture systems. Following was studied during brood stock formation: the genetic structure, morphological features and major piscicultural parameters of pedigree groups of the sterlet in the conditions of intensive rearing. Scientific grounds and technological principles of the production of mature eggs from sterlet females at the non-traditional period (January-April) were developed for organizing the caviar production. The resilience of the experimental ichthyological material obtained in hatchery conditions during the non-traditional period was not inferior to sterlet offspring obtained with the use of other technological schemes of sturgeon reproduction. The cost-benefit ratio of such enterprise can exceed 40%.
