Object of investigation - scientifically proved technology of increase of the operational characteristics of details by creating on them the wear resistant layer with its next grinding; the purpose - the increase of the operational characteristics of details by creating on them the wear resistant and corrosion resistant layer of carbide of titanium coated by nickel-phosphorous and cooper with its next grinding; methods - mathematical modelling, computing experiment and optimisation; novelty - the general laws of creation of a superficial layer while creating of compositions are revealed, the laws of formation of the physico-mechanical characteristics a covering after grinding are determined, the specified data on temperature on the processed surface are received at grinding, the conditions of grinding are determined, at which the carbide particles are not broken by cutting grains, and are cut by them; results - the program of calculation of optimum modes of the grinding ensuring the given qualitative characteristics of a superficial layer at the greatest possible productivity of processing is developed; area - technology of mechanical engineering.
