Essay

The thesis is devoted to study of theoretical and practical problems of investment process, effecting employment in transition economies. The economic essence and functional role of an investment process in economy as a factor that ensures effective employment and permanent economic development have been identified. Main features of market model of employment and specificity of its forming in transforming economies have been determined. The distinctive features of employment market organization in transition economy and the role of small entrepreneurship investment resources in this sphere have been researched. The thesis has developed main directions for implementation of an effective mechanism of providing credits to small entrepreneurship as an employment segment. The stock market investment potential and privatization process in Ukraine have been analyzed. The role of direct foreign investments and joint investment institutions in effective employment support have been defined. The measures have been proposed to increase the role of investment process in forming effective employment under market oriented economic transition.
