Essay

In the manuscript, presented are the outcomes of the research study on the author's concept of personality-oriented (student-centred) instruction in comprehensive school. The examined concept was given the title "Mixed system of educational process management". Elicited are the principles of personal instructional goal design considering individual features of a student. Techniques for realising these goals within the classroom-lesson framework described. Academic grounds are provided for applied approaches to the instructional material structuring, and to selecting adequate methods and forms of instruction. As assessment schedule for the student's achievements in intellectual and personal development was elaborated. 12 Appendices of the dissertation contain the data on effectiveness of the Mixed system of educational process management. The main results of the study were put into pedagogical practice on a large scale in Ukraine, Russia, and other countries.
