Essay

Objective: studying of prepositions by pupils of 5-7 forms. Aim: to develop, substantiate and experimentally test the methodical system of prepositions studying, aimed at ensuring of qualitative speech characteristics of pupils. Methods: theoretical, empiric, statistical. Results: expediency and possibility of prepositions studying with communicative purpose have been methodologically proved for the first time; the functions of prepositions in forming of utterances of different styles have been specified; the methods of stylistic means as well as communicative possibilities of prepositions used in pupils' speech have been improved; the system of prepositions studying as means of forming of communicative speech features of pupils has been developed.
