Tsilmak A. Psychological Determinants of Aggression Display of Personnel of Law Enforcement Agencies.

Об'єкт дослідження - analysis of the phenomena of the law enforcement officers' aggression. Мета дослідження - the goal of the research is to develop a complex methodological approach to formation of the professional and psychological readiness of the law enforcement cadets and law enforcement officers as to proper usage of physical force during their everyday work. Методи дослідження - for the research purposes the following general scientific and specific psychological methods of research were used: written and oral surveys, individual and group interviews and conversations, card of psychological supervision of the law enforcement officer, situational testing; statistical methods. Теоретичні результати та новизна - the research conducted by the author is the first attempt to conduct an analysis on usage of the legal and illegal force by the law enforcement officer in Ukrainian psychology. Dissertation allows for further development of the theoretical ground for the legal psychology for the following reasons - psychological content of the legal and illegal aggression of the law enforcement officers was determined. Предмет і ступінь впровадження - results and recommendations of the research are significant for the legal psychology theory and for their practical implementation in the form of psychological support of the operative-investigative activities of the law enforcement agencies since they help to further develop psychological determinants of aggression, forms and methods of professional and psychological preparation of the law enforcement officers. Level of implementation and areas of implementation: results and recommendations of the research were used for the following purposes by the employees of the Center of practical psychology of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, for the development of the program of psychological supervision of the educational and training process.
