In the dissertation it is researched the specific issues of legal nature and essence of the institution of state succession in respect of international treaties in contemporary international law on the basis of all-round analysis of correlation between recognized norms of customary international law, provisions of 1978 Vienna Convention on Succession of States in respect of Treaties and interstate practice of its application.
