In the dissertation theoretical principles of economic efficiency of meat production and its market formation are Shawn; perspective tendencies of its development in agricultural enterprises on the basis of intensification of production are proved. Tendencies of economic thought development, which includes transformation of forms of property, economic expediency of production concentration and orientation of consumers on separate kinds of taking into account the demand on their interchange are summed up. The creation of the mechanism of formation of meat production expenses, connected with modification of the law of value into the law of price, state support, investments, employment, forms of property, resource formation, normative expenses in reforming agrarian structures are proposed.The system of economic efficiency indices of meat production in terms of their comparing with normative indices, the usage of which will allow to set up new tendencies of meat pranches and meat market development are determined. Up-to-date situation of meat production in enterprises of different forms of property are analysed and factors that caused it are found; valuation of formation of expenses of production, connected with resource usage and normative expenses is realized. The mechanism of the meat market functioning including dependence of its development on situation, active forms of meat trade and economic relations between market agents is improved. Recommendations concerning economic efficiency of meat production in agricultural enterprises of Kievskaya region, which are confirmed by scientific achievements and advanced experience of farms, which gives an opportunity of highly profitable meat production even under up-to-date complicated situation are developed.
