Essay

Correlation between stress predisposition level and pig youngster's feeding properties in different conditions of feeding and keeping, as well as correlation between reproductive ability in sows belonging to different genotypes and sperm quality of Poltava meaty breed sire boars were ascertained. It was proposed that 45-day-old piglets should be tested by halotane method in modification of PBI of the UAAS and animals characterised by prolonged period of returning to normal physiological condition after anaesthesia should be rejected.
