Chickens of parent's herds and broiler chickens of the "Cobb-500" and "Arbor Acres" crosses are the object of the present study. Elements of the technology to grow the broilers lighting regime and setting density are given. The aim of the study is carrying out a complex comparative assessment of the chicken of the meat crosses "Cobb-500" and "Arbor Acres" of foreign breeding, determining their genetic potential according to the reproductive ability of the parent's herds and improving certain of the elements of production technology for broiler meat. The methods of research are zootechnical, biochemical, hematological and biometrical ones. The scientific innovation lies in the scientific substantion of the expediency of the use of chickens of the "Cobb-500" and "Arbor Acres" crosses to produce broiler meat in the conditions of Ukraine, in determining the adaptive and reproductive abilities of the chickens of the parent's herds and in improving a technology of growing the broilers of these crosses. The field of application: battery farms, research institutions and education establishments.
