Thesis analyzes interrelation between personal and professional development, professional activity of manager, meaning of the term "self-regulation", defining its psychological content and functions. Research presents theoretical grounds of the model of managers' personal self-regulation and defines its components: content, process and personal self-esteem. Author has developed and presented research method of managers' personal self-regulation. It includes definition of specifics of personal self-regulation of successful, as well as not successful managers. Author defines and presents the program of increasing the level of personal self-regulation. Thesis shows positive influence of the given program on development and improvement of personal self-regulation.
