Sobolyev A. Ukraine in European military-political measuring.

The thesis is focused on the influence of current transformation of European and Euro-Atlantic security structures (EU and NATO) on forming military policy and military-policy strategy in Central and East European countries. Foreign scientific sources which consider theoretical bases of world schools and models for building military-policy relations in the modern world are analysed. Special attention is given to the isolation of causes and to the study of disagreements between the USA and EU in the field of military policy formation and crisis resolution, struggle against terrorism and other negative phenomena caused by modern globalization process. The problems of a search of military-political reference points for Ukraine and its multivector policy are reviewed. The given phenomenon is explained by a geopolitical situation of our state which is located on a break of cultural and civilization values of the West and the East.
