Kononchyk M. Features of functioning of natural monopolies in conditions of market transformation

The object of study -The object of study -is the natural monopoly in transformational economy. The purpose of work is substantiation of scientific effective functioning of natural monopoly in conditions of market transformation and state regulation. Methods of the logically historical, comparative, structurally functional, evolutionary functional analysis are used. With the help of the complex analysis criteria of division of monopolies on natural and artificial are determined, attributes of natural monopolies are differentiated on specific and the general, on the basis of which the concept of natural monopolies is specified. Ways of state regulation of the given enterprises are considered and social and economic consequences of such regulation for natural monopolies and society as a whole are described. Features of functioning of natural monopolies in conditions of market transformation are distinguished: transformation of the some state monopolies in natural ones, the domination of informal institutes, realization of activity in conditions of transitive economy of inversion type.
