The object is ukrainian publicistic of 60-th and 90-th years of XX century; the aims it systematized tendencies of publicists of 60-th years and their integration into 90-th years publicistic; the methods are theoretical analysis and statistical methods; the new main features of the gentre development, called in the work as "Publicistic of first years of state independence" were determined. Also thorough research info practical bases of publicistic field, specifically, 60-th and 90-th years was carried out; the main -- in the conelusion a number of recommendations for the beginners of publicistic activity are presented; the field is journalism.
