The thesis is dedicated to mining of the theoretical, methodical and practical bases of inducing of activity of wood-working enterprises. In activity the economic essence of locale and its social and economic development is uncovered. The major features and factors of social and economic development of locale are considered. The definitions of special modes of managing are updated, the analysis of their application in miscellaneous branches of economics is made. The special organization-economic mode of activity of wood-working enterprises is developed. The methodical recommendations by definition of expediency of introduction of a special economic mode are prepared and the financial and economic estimation of its operational use for enterprises of a timber industry complex of Chernovtsy region is carried out.
