Essay

The thesis deals with the methodology of teaching Students of Philology grammatically correct written communication. The methodology has been theoretically substantiated. Grammar peculiarities of written texts in the determined genres (informal letter, formal letter, instructions) have been studied. Grammar difficulties and the interlanguage of students have been analysed. The methodological typology of grammar phenomena has been created. The authentic texts have been selected. As a result of the research, a complex of grammar exercises as a part of the system of exercises teaching written communication has been created and theoretically substantiated. The effectiveness of the suggested methodology was verified and confirmed during the experimental teaching. Methodological recommendations on how to organize and implement teaching grammatically correct writing communication have been developed and applied in practice in four higher educational establishments of Ukraine.
