Essay

Object: regions of Ukraine that are considered as set of elements and interrelations. Aim: the decision of a problem of investment maintenance of regional development from a position of the resource approach, definition of ways of overcoming negative and strengthening of positive factors, the strong and weak sides of attraction of investment resources in economy of regions of Ukraine and development of a technique of an estimation of regional investment risk. Methods: system, graphic, statistical and technical-economic analysis, expert estimations, SWOT-analysis. Results: the all-round analysis of available theoretical completions in sphere of investment is carried out, the design procedure of regional investment risk is offered. Use: by development of the Concept of social and economic development of Chernivtsi Region for the period till 2011, at teaching courses on management.
