Object of research - individual psychological characteristics of personality of younger school age children. Subject of research - qualitative characteristics of emotionality, formal and dynamic parameters of sociability and their correlation peculiar to younger school age children. Methods of fesearch. The system of research methods used in the work: theoretical analysis of literature sources in order tj determine the level at which the problem under study has been investigated; methods of inquest, of observation, of interview, analysis of activity products. Scientific novelty of the thesis lies in the fact that: -psychological substance of emotionality as an individuality characteristic for 7 to 10 aged children was specified, its steady character at this age proved; the substance and structure of sociability at younger school age were specified, specific manifestations of this feature were investigated; for the first time emotionality was chosen for investigation as a basic factor of individual differences in sociability of younger school age children, the knowledge of a system-making function of emotionality was widened; correlations of qualitative parameters of emotionality and formal and dynamic parameters of sociability as steady and constant for children from 7 to 10 were found; the fact that at younger school age emotionality determines individual peculiarities of sociability by way of forming the structure of its parameters was prowed; it was discovered that parents-children relations influence on situational emotions (emotional reactions) of children, rather than on their emotional dispositions (emotionality types), which mainly remain stable.
