Ckubashevs'ka T. Language strategies in forming inter-cultural dialogue in the European space (a socio-philosophic analysis)

Results of the research, in which language strategies, their importance and role in establishing an intercultural dialogue in the European space, are defended. The author proves that the language strategies are among the key means of establishing the intercultural dialogue, reaching tolerance and mutual understanding, overwhelming contradictions and conflicts, which sometimes arise in the European space. The author proves that contemporary European integration processes intensify interaction of the peoples and cultures, create a unique atmosphere of co-existence in the common space of cultural, ethnic and confessional contradictions, and require deepening of the dialogic mutual understanding, which is reached by means of the language strategies. The dissertation substantiates the need of the in-depth study of the European languages as a principle of the modern educational policy of Ukraine.
