Essay

The object is the philosophy of the Lviv-Warsaw School (LWS) as a unique phenomenon of the European culture; the goal is to identify the heuristic potential of the philosophical and educational ideas of the LWS representatives in the author's reconstruction and systematization of their inheritance based on the complementary application of phenomenological, cultural-anthropological, hermeneutical and system-theoretical analysis together with the biographical method and the archeology of knowledge; the methods are biographical, phenomenological, cultural-anthropological, hermeneutical, and system-theoretical analysis; the novelty is the launch of a new direction in the philosophy of education – theoretical and practical reconstruction of the complex of philosophical and pedagogical ideas, educational practices as well as models of life-creation derived from the creative heritage of LWS representatives along with the reproduction of the autopoiesis of their philosophical and educational communication; the results are the reconstruction and systematization of philosophical and educational ideas of LWS representatives, based on which the complex construct "LWS philosophy of education" was proposed, which allows to verify the methodology of analytical philosophy in researches of philosophical and educational problems; the active role of LWS in the development of philosophical theory of education on the principles of analytical philosophy is revealed as well as the cultural-anthropological and socio-anthropological material that contributed to the appearance of popular scientific works, where the educational issues are combined with socio-historical and cultural-historical; the branch is the philosophy of education.
