The dissertation is dedicated to theoretical consideration and experimental testing of the contents of methods, forms, pedagogical condition of forming professional competence of future teachers of geography by means of acting project. The analysis of this problem of social economical and pedagogical position is done, the main point of conceptions "project", "acting project", "training project", "method of project" are considerated. The model of forming professional competence of future teacher of geography by means of acting project (purpose, pedagogical aim, principles, contents by work, form of work, methods of work, criteria of effectiveness, condition of forming professional competence, subject of its forming, results) is considerated. The project of the main pedagogical courses is elaborated. The pedagogical condition students natural-geographical faculty professional competence forming process support, criteria and level its forming untraditional methods of teaching, usage of which supplies forming of professional competence of future teachers of geography, elaborated tests, questionnaires, creative student's project "My pedagogical practice".
