Onufriv S. Political discourse of the Ukrainian Mass Media in the world information space

This dissertation research pioneeringly attempts at examining a number of political, economic, social, cultural, transformational realia in the present-day Ukrainian political milieu and, respectively, the political discourse of the Ukrainian Mass Media as far the Ukrainian Humanities Research is concerned. The research is made through the prism of the scholarly postcolonial methodology, employed by the international thought in the field of Humanities when analysing the Politics, Culture, Literature, History of former colonial countries. The author investigates Mass Media text (both Ukrainian and foreign, viz/ Russian, Polish, American) reflecting the dynamics of political transformations in the Ukrainian social conscioursness of the Independence epoch, their proceeding and comprehension in the Ukrainian Mass Media and those abroad.
