Byelins'ka I. The thematic model of modern regional edition (based on the material of newspaper periodic of Kirovograd region in the period of the years 1991 - 2003)

The thematic model of modern regional edition has been built and its accordance to the readers' demand has been also checked up in the dissertation. State and perspectives of studying of the regional press in the Ukrainian journalism has been analysed in the paper. One part of the paper is dedicated to the Kirovograd mass media in relation to the modern regional press, quantitative indices of the mass media in the typological indications, language of edition. Also the dynamic the development of the regional press has been analysed based on the quantity and duration of the existence of registered and re-registered editions. The scheme of the analysis of the thematic palette of a modern regional edition as well as methods of formation of the thematic model of the edition have been worked out in the research paper. In accordance with the specific features of the typological gradation of the mass media, the author of dissertation has worked out the models of non-specialized and specialized editions.
