The dissertation is devoted to the research into the procedural aspects of the activity of international criminal courts. The evolution of international criminal justice is stated. The classification of the sources of procedural rules regulating the activity of each international criminal judicial institution is carried out, as well as peculiarities of their creation and hierarchy. The notion of jurisdiction, its types and limits are determined. The ways of solution of vague points of jurisdiction are suggested. The organization, functions and status of the main organs of international criminal courts are analyzed. The author's approach to separation of procedural stages is suggested. The interaction of Anglo-American and Continental legal systems in the formation of procedural norms regulating the activity of international criminal courts is revealed
