The dissertation is devoted to settling of scientific and practical problems of formation and improvement of territorial-organizational structure of system enterprises of industrial railway transport (EIRT), development of the economic mechanism structural reorganization and management of this one. Economical essence of basic concepts is revealed. The theory and methodology of formation, function and territorial - organizational structure of EIRT as an important part of the state railway are profound. The directions of improvement of system activity and rationalization of territorial proportions are proved. Methodical approaches to estimation objects of industrial railway transport functioning are specified. The character and features investment, innovation and marketing activity of EIRT is revealed. The economic mechanism of territorial - structural reorganization EIRT is developed. It includes precorporational preparation, reorganization and corporation of system. The new territorial – organizationalstructure of EIRT is represented. The economic feasibility of this perspective model of territorial - organizational structure of given system is proved.
