This dissertational research work is devoted to the theoretical and experimental studying of the process of raising the professional consciousness of psychologists to be at the higher educational institution. The main approaches of the scientific research of this phenomenon in both domestic an world psychological sciences are enlighted. The author scientifically proves that the optimizing of the professional educative process favours the professional growth of personality, moulds integral professional vision of the world, enlarges the field of professional activity. The integrative approach to the forming of professional consciousness has been worked out there. The model of practical educative activity, aiming the transformation from professional educative level to professional occupation as a psychologist, has been created and tested in the research. It has been proved in the dissertational research the effectiveness of using the activity-reflexing education and the experimental-genetic method in ensuring the process of forming the personality's professional consciousness. The practical implementation of the research results has been conducted into the educational process of psychologists to be in the form of experimental education at the Zaporozhye State University.
