The dissertation is dedicated to study of issues of psychological tension correction of border guards arising during state border guard service. Psychological analysis of border guards' activity of state border guarding has been conducted. Factors that provoke state of psychological tension (anxiety) of border guards, its forms and types have been determined. Primary ways, periods and the most effective influence methods and techniques of officer-psychologists and deputy chiefs on personnel training upon psychological tension of border guards during the process of psychological provision of state border guarding have been figured out. Dynamic phases of social and psychological rehabilitation of border guards who suffered psychological traumas have been found out
