Malyy M. International news department in television: organizational, jenre, creative and technical potential

The dissertation work is aimed at studying an important segment of foreign and national television, namely of an international news department. The importance of solving the questions, appertaining to the new mechanisms of work with international information, is based on, inter alia, the studies of changes in organizational jenre, creative and technical potential of an international news department. The present research for the first time in Ukrainian journalist science develops a theoretical and practical conception of organizing the work of intrnational news department within the structure of news service with the consideration of main creative and organizational factors of intrnational information's influence on socium's mind and behaviour. Organizational, jenre, creative and technical potantial of international news department is being studied with the help of the theory of journalism (where a new notion of journalism's system of function is presented), of the theory of mass communication, and it is also viewed from philosophical, politological, economical, historical, psychological and social points of view. Practical part of the research provides the analysis of facts materials. It is also of importance, that the author while writing the dissertation work was taking into account not only theoretical base, but also his own experience in television work, as well as had the chance to study the work of his colleagues, and was able to verify their experience in practice.
