The object of research: institutional mechanisms and grounds of monopolism regulation in transition economy. The aim of research: complex analysis of the main directions and methods of the existing system of economic regulation of monopolism in transition economy as well as development of recommendations on its improvement. The methods of research: system approach, economic modelling, factor analysis, the method of comparison. Results and novelty: the broadening of theoretical notions on the essence of economic regulation of monopolism in transition economy; a range of recommendations aimed on improvement and effectiveness increase of economic regulation of monopolism under conditions of the market transformation.
