The thesis focuses on psychological substance, structure, main components of national self-consciousness, ways of its formation and development, psychological peculiarities of the scout movement influence on the formation and development of the national self-consciousness of teenagers. As a result of the empirical and detailized the internal and external determinations of development, activization and formation of national self-consciousness of a teenager personality. Besides, it deals with self-identification, self-appraisal, the level of demands, social-psychological expectations, I-image and also training integral system of national selfestimation development. It is proved, that the realization of the experimental program fills selfestimation of a teenager with additional positive motives, needs, expectations, aims, valuable understanding, stimuli, interests, ideals, which influence formation of a personality greatly and also they are considered to be highly effective impacts of his education, up-bringing and development. All the facts received in the process of investigation and formulated on their basis psychological conclusions and recommendations can be used for improving of the content and forms of the national education and up-bringing, increasing of their effectiveness, the development of the national self-consciousness of teenagers in the process of their including to the scout movement.
