Kholchev Y. The improvement of technical exploitation of the ship's diesel plant lubricating oil systems

The thesis is devoted to the solution of the problem of the improvement of the technical exploitation of the ship's diesel plant lubricating oil systems by means of increasing safety and economical efficiency by prevention of the pro-longed diesel engine operation on lubricating oils with high water content. For the achievement of the aim of the study there was developed method for determination of water concentration in the oil of the lubricating oil circulation systems (LOCS) of the ship's diesel engines (SDE). There were found solutions for the following auxiliary tasks: analysis of the technical excellence and opera-tional characteristics of SDE LOCS; development of the method for the studying of the heat-massexchange processes in the SDE LOCS; development of the physical and imitational models of SDE lubricating oil systems; finding the static and dynamic characteristics of the moisture content in the system "oil-water-air"; development of the continuous water in oil monitoring system in SDE LOCS.
