Essay

The object of the research - functional reserves in elite basketball players within a yearly preparation cycle. The subject of the research - yearly dynamics of functional reserves in elite basketball players. The methods of research: analysis and generalization of literature sources on the theme of the research; pedagogical supervision with application of the technique-tactics analysis of the elite basketball players' action during a long-term preparation cycle; pedagogical testing of general physical fitness and special working capacity in elite basketball players; instrumental method of research: tonometry, variational pulsometry, and rheocardiography; analysis of main parameters' values of systemic and regional haemodynamics with use of statistics methods (there were used computer programs "Statistica", "Microsoft Excel"). Scientific novelty of received results: for the first time there has been shown the dynamics of special working capacity level an functional state of systemic and regional (cerebral) haemodynamics in basketball players within a yearly period of preparation; for the first time there has been defined the adaptive restoration of systemic and regional (cerebral) haemodynamics in basketball players that can be revealed in relative increase of blood supply of cerebral hemispheres in comparison with untrained people and other kinds of sport representatives of the same age and gender; there has been established that the functional value of tension signs of adaptive potential of a cardiovascular system that are expressed in appearance of asymmetry of coupled haemodynamics indices in brain blood circulation, rise of the level of systolic arterial pressure (APs), value of total peripheral resistance of vessels (TPRV) against blood flow, decrease of cardiac index (CI), significant growth of heart rate (HR) while shifting an athlete body position; it has been found that there is some influence of a course of biological active supplements consumption (spirulin, espa-lipon-600) onto the level of special working capacity and functional reserves of cardiovascular system in elite basketball players which can be displayed on normalization of the level of systolic arterial pressure (APs), values of total peripheral resistance of vessels (TPRV) against blood flow and frequency of heart rate (HR), disappearance of signs of venous outflow breach, and for all that at the same time it is accompanied by the efficiency improvement in technique-tactics actions of a basketball player; there have been widened the conceptions of functional reserves restoration of cardiovascular system functioning in response to consumption of spirulin and espa-lipon-600.
